As described on our preliminary lump sum webpage, the preliminary lump sums in 2023, calculated for the year 2022, will be delivered on several dates.

The following dates have been communicated by WM Datenservice:

• 11.01.2023
• 12.01.2023

For the preliminary lump sums for 2022, so-called "zero reports" will be published for all relevant investment funds due to the negative base interest rate. Due to the uniform zero values for the 2022 preliminary lump sum, no corrections can occur.

On 30.12.2022, the transitional regime for UCITS and AIFs under the PRIIPs Regulation (REGULATION (EU) No.1286/2014 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL dated 26 November 2014) will end.

All mutual funds (UCITS and AIFs) that already provide a UCITS KIID (also known as Key Investor Information document) are considered as an exemption during the transitional regime and do not have to prepare and provide KIDs to PRIIPs providers ("distributors").

After several postponements, the Key Investor Information will be replaced by the PRIIPs KIDs as of 1 January 2023.

Overview of changes in WM data

• All funds will receive the value "Yes" in WM field GD496A - PRIIPs identifier, if not already present.
• A total of approximately 200,000 funds are affected.
• The changes in GD496A will be processed for WMACCESS Internet on 30.12.2022 at approximately 8:00 AM.
• WM Datenservice has already announced that there may be delays in the delivery.
• The new PRIIPs KID documents will be available in WM Datenservice's EDH (European Documents Hub) from 02.01.2023.

We have set up a WMACCESS EDDy_neu test system. Please note the information on our EDDy_neu project page about the test possibilities (incl. credentials) and the scope of the test system.

The ability to research five event data query profiles simultaneously makes the Corporate Actions query profile one of the most popular query profiles in WMACCESS.

In May 2022, we had already extended the search criteria and integrated numerous other WM date fields, which we have now extended again including UD193C CASG effective date and UD193B Durable Medium effective date.

With the exclusion of cancelled events functionality, a further improvement has now been added:

A cancelled event exists when the status of a corporate event contains one of the following expressions:

• S = Cancellation of entire announcement
• T = Cancellation of entire announcement due to ISIN change
• U = Cancellation due to duplicate/renewed publication

The status of a corporate event is reflected in the following WM fields:

• Income:
  Payment status (Field: ED001 / Table: E13)
• Conversions:
  Conversion status (Field: UD001 / Table: U25)
• Capital changes:
  Capital measure status (Field: KD001 / Table: K12)
• General meetings:
  Meeting or announcement status (Field: HD001 / Table: H25)
• Final maturities:
  Drawing or calling status (Field: VD001 / Table: V11)

By default, cancelled events are excluded. This can be changed by deactivating the associated checkbox.

In the tabular display of linkage fields, such as GV641 (Total principal), numerical columns (= so-called auxiliary fields) are now displayed right-aligned:

On October 24, 2022 the 99. WM Release will become effective. We would like to inform you about some upcoming alterations beforehand and corresponding impacts in WMACCESS.

As of 27.06.2022, two minor improvements will be made in wmGuide.

Number of repeating groups for linkage fields:

Until the recent past, field descriptions of linkage fields also included a statement such as "up to 30 times". For new linkage fields, this information is omitted by WM Datenservice, but the information is now provided separately, and therefore we have now integrated this information in wmGuide.

Support for auxiliary fields in "Search by field ident":

In the future, the wmGuide search function in the "Fields" tab will also result in a hit for the associated linkage field when auxiliary fields are entered. It does not matter whether an auxiliary field is entered in the official WM terminology such as "GV1F4T" or in the WMACCESS variant such as "GV1F4_T" - both options will be successful and find the WM linkage field GV1F4 as well as display the associated field description in detail.

The Corporate Actions query profile performs the restriction of the corporate events to be selected based on a time period. The time period definition depends on the type of capital measure and so far as follows:

• Income: Ex date (ED007)
• Conversions: Ex date (UD025) as well as conversion period (UD016)
• Capital changes: Ex date (KD018) as well as subscription period (KD014)
• General meetings: HV/GV date (HD008)
• Final maturities: Maturity date (VD009)

As the search criteria are extended, the hit list is also adjusted. In the hit list column "Date", the WM date fields listed above are also taken into account. Since the hit list column "Date" is only displayed once per hit, this column contains the first date in the sequence of the date fields listed per type of capital measure / segment.

The detail display of wmView will be improved for linkage fields, such as RV001, from 27.06.2022.

If an auxiliary field (= column of a linkage field), such as RV001A (stock markets), is assigned a WM table, such as "G32", then the value, such as DH6, is now displayed in a separate table cell directly to the left of the value defintion, such as Paris-Aquis Exch.Europe:
